Patrick Duff of Craigston. Born Craigston, Scotland 1655.
Father of 36 children, he is said to have been complimented by King George II on the addition he had made to His Majesty's subjects in Scotland. Married first 1687 Anne Innes (died 1700), dau of John Innes.
They had 13 children.
By Mary Urquhart, daughter of James Urquhart of Knockleith, whom he married on the 4th of October 1701, he had 23 children.
Patrick later purchased Knocckleith from James Urquhart, in 1702.[1]
Died 3rd of August 1731.
