Biography

Hannah Vail was born about 1738 in Connecticut, daughter of Daniel Vail and Hannah Griffin. ^[1]

Hannah married Ozias Goodwin on October 26, 1761 in Litchfield, Connecticut. Osias was born November 27, 1735, son of Abraham Goodwin and Mary Bird. ^{[2] [3]}

Osias died aged 55 years on March 1,1788 ^[2] and is buried in West Cemetery, at Litchfield, Connecticut.^[4]

Hannah died November 4, 1822 at the age of 82 years. ^[3] and is buried at West Cemetery, with Osias. Her inscription reads: In memory of Hannah Goodwin, relict of Ozias Goodwin, who died Nov 5, 1822, aged 82. ^[5] She was buried at West Cemetery, Litchfield, Litchfield, Connecticut. ^[5]
