Biography

Lt.-Col. William Causabon Frend was born on 17 September 1821. He was the son of George Culloden Frend and Letitia Jane Roberts.

He married Harriott Georgiana Garvey, daughter of Captain George Garvey on 3 January 1849 in Ireland.

He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 73rd Regiment. He lived at Rootiagh, County Limerick, Ireland, (Ruthurd Castle).
