Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, here are a few more features you may find useful:

• You can find recommended profile formats and tips on writing biographies in Styles and Standards.

• To describe an event, an heirloom or a location, you can use a Free Space Profile.

• Sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. See our process for resolving these situations.

I've been studying my ancestry for a few years now and I believe strongly in sharing information freely. I've read through the mission statement and rules and I fully support them.

I notice you plan to or already uploaded a GEDCOM. If you go to our Help Index, there is a lot of great information under GEDCOM that you will find useful for GEDCOM imports to WikiTree.
