Biography
Pelatiah was born in 1750. He passed away in 1797. [1]
W C Kinsman in his book on the Kinsman family records him as "almost assuredly the first of the now known four of the missing brothers" sons of Robert Kinsman and Bethiah Doggett. [2]
The only actual fact recorded for Pelatiah comes from his headstone at Copp's Hill Cemetery in Boston, Mass. It reads:
- Here Lyes Ye Body of Mr Pelatiah Kinsman Aged 47 years Dec'd April 21, 1797
There is no evidence that actually links him to Robert Kinsman and his wife Bethiah, and their wills speak heavily against them having any children.
