The Birth Date is a rough estimate. See the text for details.
Félicité Langlois was born around 1735 in the French territory, "Le Pays des Illinois," the daughter of Augustin Langlois and Marie Baudreau dit Graveline.[1]
This area, on the East Bank of the Mississippi River, is now near Prairie du Rocher, Randolph County, Illinois, USA. After 1717 it was governed under France's Louisiana Territory and became known as "La Haute Louisiane."[2]
Félicité probably died in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana Territory, USA, before 15 February 1813, when she was mentioned in a son's marriage record as deceased.[3]
