Abner White served with Civil Service, New York during the American Revolution.

Abner White is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A124561.

Abner was born in 1725 in Massachusetts.[1]

He married Ruth in 1746.[1]

Abner and Ruth moved to Dutchess County, New York in 1752.[1]

Abner White was overseer of highways in Dutchess County, New York during the American Revolution as per the DAR record citing Collections of Dutchess County Historical Society, VOL VII, PP 100-103. Wife Ruth Brownell. Son Thomas m. Rebecca Vail. Son Charles m. Elizabeth Doty. [2]

He died in 1794 and is buried in the White Ground Cemetery, Lithgow, Dutchess County, New York.[3]

His will dated June 30, 1794. Lived in Dutchess County, NY. Sons: Charles. William. James. Thomas. Wife: Ruth. Daughters: Mary Harris. Ruth Merritt. Grandsons: Thomas Doty. Jeremiah Doty. Jeremiah is not yet age 21. Executors: his sons, and Silas Deuel Jr. Proved November 14, 1794.[4]
