Jonathan was a Friend (Quaker)
Jonathan Clark was the father of Deborah Clark who married Nathan Dicks.
He passed away 26 January 1727 in Chester, Pennsylvania. [1]. His Inventory of goods was taken by his son-in-law, Nathan Dicks and is remarkably short:
- One old cow with a bell: £2 2s
- One 3-year-old heifer: £1 15s
- Two calves: £1 2s
- Six pounds of old iron: 2s
From the bond bound by Nathan Dicks it appears that all Jonathan's goods came to Nathan.

This profile was the conflation of several persons. I have stripped him back to be the known father of Deborah Clark, who married Nathan Dicks in Pennsylvania. We know little about him.

I can't seem to find any sources (other than online trees which are themselves unsourced), that show the parents of Deborah Gedney's husband. Or anything that indicates his first name was Jonathan rather than Francis?
