Marguerite (Leblanc) Mius is a descendant of an Acadian
Marguerite LeBlanc was the daughter of Honoré LeBlanc and Anne Judith Mius.[1]
She married Luc Mius, the son of Louis Mius I and Anne Marie Josephe Corporon on November 23, 1812 at Ste. Anne's in Eel Brook, Nova Scotia.[1]
The marriage was registered by Jean Mandé Sigogne. Sigogne notes that the bride is a minor, and the groom is Of the age of majority.[1]
Luc and Marguerite settled at Pointe-à-Rocco[2] where they raised their family of at least 13 children:

Marguerite died on September 14, 1882 and was buried at Sainte-Anne Parish Cemetery on September 18, 1882. She was listed as being 90 years old at her death.[16]
