Biography

Children: Pieter (Sept 22 1639), Reimerich (Sept 15 1641), Claes (Sept 27 1643), Geert (May 13 1646), Marij (April 5 1648), Anna.

There was a Herke Pietersz living in Venhuizen who might have been our Herke. He was listed as a bootsgezel (worker on a boat), listed in a document in 1675. This isn’t likely to be our Hercke since one gets the feeling this was a younger man.
