Biography

Albert Marshall Rigg, My little Brother has that middle name also. Albert Rigg Came from Phillipsburg, Laclede, Missouri, USA. That is on the Old Route 66. He left home for the Boom town of Picher Oklahoma.

He became a Lead and Zink Miner in the big mines of the Picher area, Married Pearl Rigg and had 4 children.

Albert's Mother is the Bledsoe Line That is so famous in Kentucky. And Albert hunted and fished for four family's just like his grandfathers before him. He Had the combined hunting knowledge of all his for bearers and had the skills of knife maker, lock smith, gun smith Licensed Mechanic on motor and transmission in the 50s.

He was an honest man and lived an honest life off of the land, We never wanted for food, but the wealth ran out in Picher and it is a ghost town today and super fund cleanup site.

His grandfathers hunted with Boone and fought Indians and were killed and scalped by Indians. His family and men like him made America what it was.

Albert Rigg and Most of the Rigg Line are Buried in the Miami Oklahoma GAR cemetery.
