Meijnert Pietersz Backer married Lijsbeth Claes. Children: Ariaentje (Sept 27 1682, witness Trijn Claes), Aef (Feb 6 1684, witness Trijn),
Meijndert Pieters made profession of faith on March 1 1676 in the Abbekerk Reformed Church, along with Jacob Agricola who was the lawyer for 4 of the 6 legal cases he was involved with from 1677 to 1679 and in 1806.
They were members of the Abbekerk Reformed Church - but they had their children baptized in Abbekerk. He was involved in 5 judicial cases in Abbekerk between 1677 and 1679.
