Biography

John Matthew McKeeby was born 3 Dec 1775 in New Paltz, Ulster, New York, son of Matthew McCaby and Jannetje Tappen.[1]

He is said to have married Eleanor Writer and to have had daughter Polly who married a Rosencrants.

He died 3 Sep 1850 in Dimock, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, USA and was buried there in Rosencrants Cemetery.[2]

Documentation and sources should be added to resolve the LNAB inconsistancies between John Matthew McKeeby.his sister Elizabeth and John McCaby who is said to have been their father. Although the names sound phonetically similar they are spelled quite differently. Why are their names spelled McKeeby when parents and siblings are spelled McCaby? This should have been resolved prior to merging. Now the issue should be resolved with documented evidence to support correct LNAB.

Also the profile needs to be cleaned so that the infomation (bio and sources) that was passed to the final profile throgh merging is combined into one biography and not two as is currently the case.
