Laurence McLouth served in the Revolution. He is on the list of "REVOLUTIONARY PATRIOTS BURIED IN AND AROUND ONTARIO COUNTY, NEW YORK"
"McLouth, Lawrence 1757-1810 Village Cemetery Village of Manchester"[1]
Notes
1790 - Lucy Barrows of Attleborough, a single woman accused Laurence McLowth Jr of Taunton as the father of her child born 25 January. [2] In his will, Laurence leaves to Esther McLouth "commonly called my daughter" ten shillings.
However there is a marriage record at family search for Lawrence Mc Louth and Lucy Barrows dated 4 Sep 1779 in Attleboro, Bristol, Massachusetts.[3] The image comes from "Vital Records of Attleborough Massachusetts" pg 318[4] and records their intention, not marriage. On the other hand his Findagrave profile (link in 'Sources') states:
"1st Marriage Esther Brownell 1778 in Bedford, Middlesex, Massachusetts."
I begin to wonder how many Laurence McLouth's there might have been there/then?

I've just created Esther (McLouth) Howland (1780-1859) wife of David Howland and mother of Amy Howland Lapham. Her findagrave profile links to this Laurence as her father, with Esther Brownwell, apparently his first wife, as her mother. We all know that Findagrave is not always 100%, could you help confirm the relationships before I make the connection?
