Hello cousin, Just wanted to call to your attention the fact that the French did NOT have middle names. Please refer to Québécois project, so you should get familiar with the existing guidelines on names and place names on the project page here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Quebecois

Best regards,

Judith

Hi!

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful. Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages. Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies. Looking for a specific person? Try under “find” and enter the name you are looking for (with dates if you have them). It is very important to you and to others that you include as much bio info about individuals as possible & don’t forget the need for sources. You will come to appreciate the need for this background info and sources as you continue with WikiTree. If you have any questions, feel free to ask via MY PERSONAL profile page! Hi,

I'm a WikiTree Mentor. I'm here to help you learn your way around. Our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well! Feel free to check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide to get you started. We also have our Help Index with links to topics you may have questions on. Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our generous members help each other out. And of course I'm here to help, just ask!

PS I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'. ~Michele~

Hi! I see you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details. ~Michele~
