Abel was a Friend (Quaker)

Abel was born 5 May 1784 (calculation based on exact age at death).^[1] He was the son of Roger Haviland and Elizabeth (Hare) Haviland.^[2]

He married Hannah Hoag, daughter of Samuel and Anne of Shermantown, on 23d 11m 1803 [23 Nov 1803] in the Oblong Meeting House in Dutchess County, New York.^[2]

He died on 30d 11m 1854 [30 Nov 1854] in Dutchess, New York.^[1][3] He was buried in Quaker Cemetery.^[1]
