Biography
Melchior was born in 1699, in either Canton Bern, Switz or Alsace, France.
He came to America on 16 Sep 1736 aboard the Princess Augusta.[1]. He warranted land on 8 Nov 1744 in Upper Berns Twp., Berks Co., PA (Warrant 64)[2], which was part of the Northkill Amish Settlement.[3]
