If you're related to me and sure of it, or if you have questions about whether or not you're possibly related, feel free to leave me a question. Over the years, I have received a number of questions (outside of this website, of course) due to my Robertson surname. Please understand, I will try to answer your questions, but Robertson is a very very large surname. Very Prolific in the 1700's and 1800's in the Colonial British Era and the US. So, just because I have the surname, does not mean I will know who your ancestors are. Thanks.
Are their profiles on WIkiTree? At the top of this page, you see SURNAME entered. Click the magnifying glass, and you get a list of all SURNAME profiles on WikITree, and you can sort alphabetically or by birth or death dates to see if family members are already on WikiTree. You can repeat this for each surname you are researching or add a first name to see all the profiles on WikITree.
You might want to set up a free account on FamilySearch.org and research to see if your ancestor is there. The FamilySearch records are outstanding and sometimes attached to the person on their FamilySearch profile, which can list parents, spouses, and children to help you get started.
I hope this helps, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
Take care ~ Sheryl ~ WikiTree Greeter
