Knight-6814 and Moniac-14 do not represent the same person because: May be different wives

Knight-6814 and Moniac-14 appear to represent the same person because: John Jackson Ward is listed as married to two women - both of whom are the same person. One has strictly her more Native American name (Nahoga Mahala Moniac) while the other incorporates her Christian and Native names (Nancy Elizabeth Nahoga Moniac Knight Ward). The family bible shows that these two women are technically the same person.

The problem, will be combining the two names together. They will be quite a mouthful! I am very curious where the "Knight" surname got added, since her last name was Moniac at birth. There may be another marriage that is not listed.

Good Luck! Chuck Auld-121
