Biography

Captain Samuel Hickox ^[1][2] was born ^[3] 26 May 1702 in Waterbury, New Haven, Connecticut. He was the only son of Capt. William Hickox to survive an epidemic in 1713.^[4] Samuel married ^[5] Mary Hopkins on 8 Mar 1721 in Waterbury. Three of their children married into the same Seymour family.
