Cookeville, Tenn., Jan. 6. Mrs. Thursla Ford, widow of the late Green W. Ford, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. T. Reed, in Monterey. She was about 70 years old and was a devoted member of the Baptist church. Her husband, for many years a prominent member of the County Court and leading citizen of Fifth Civil District of this county, died several years ago. Burial was beside the grave of her husband at Sand Springs cemetery, near their old home. The deceased was the mother of 11 children, eight of whom survive: J. M. Ford and J. D. Ford of Cookeville, W. A. Ford of Lubbock, Tex.; George Ford, Mrs. W H. Smith and Mrs. J. T. Reed of Monterey, Frank Ford of Meade, Okla. and Mrs. G. D. Whitlowe of Memphis.
