I'm interested in the Hughart family of Greenbrier county, Virginia (West Virginia), USA. There is an hypothesis that the Urquhart family from Oyster Bay Colony, Long Island, New York, moved to Virginia, but there's no proof. If anyone has family stories that might support this, let me know!
I'm also interested in the Majszak family of Chicago, who arrived from Poland.
I've married into the Vawter family of Iowa, which seems to have come through Vermont.
I would love to find a common ancestor for any of these surnames, and figure out how all extant Hugart/Hughart people are related together.
