Biography

Joseph Smith was born in 1749 in Sunderland MA to Moses & Elizabeth (Smith) Smith. He married an indirect cousin, Rhoda Smith was the daughter of Nathan Smith & Experience Gunn. Joseph and Rhoda had 9 children. The couple lived in post-Revolution Massachusetts, Joseph was a hard worker and provided well for his family.
