Birth and Parents

Della (Baldwin) Glover was born in Minnesota.

Mary Adell (alias Della), the second daughter and third of five children of Martin Baldwin and Sarah Cornell was born in 1873 at Lewiston, Minnesota.

The 1875 Minnesota Census shows Della to be 2 years of age and living with her parents, Martin and Sarah and her siblings at Lewiston, Winona, Minnesota.^[1]

Marriage and Children

Della married as his first wife Sam B. E. Glover (1867-1908) the son of Charles Henry and Ruth J. (Morey) Glover on 13 April 1889 at Lewiston, Winona, Minnesota.^[2] They had one child born at Fremont:

1. Ruth Adell Glover (b. 2 Apr 1890; d. 4 Nov 1950, Los Angeles, CA)^[3][4] m. 23 May 1942 at Los Angeles, CA, John Hardy Jr. (1897-1987)^[5]

Death and Burial

Mary Adell "Della" (Baldwin) Glover died on 10 July 1901 in her 28th year at Lewiston. ^[6][7]She is buried in the Fremont Scotch Cemetery at Winona, Minnesota.^[8]
