Eldridge Cleaver was an American writer and political activist who became an early leader of the Black Panther Party.[1]
Leroy Eldridge Cleaver was born in Wabbaseka, Arkansas in 1935. He was the son of Leroy Cleaver and Thelma Hattie Robinson.
In 1967, he married Kathleen Neal.[2] She divorced him in 1987.
He died in 1998 and is buried in Mountain View Cemetery and Mausoleum in Altadena, California.[3]
