In 1861 Charles Burrard 68, Bart., retired Vice Admiral Royal Navy, born at Dorking, was living at Holmsfield, Lyndhurst, with wife Louisa 59 born at Bedford Square, London, three daughters, Maria 32, Laura 28 and Emily 27, and four servants. He passed away in 1870.
