Biography
John Hayford Thorold son of Sir John Thorold Bart., and his wife, Jane Hayford. [1]
On the 1st of October 1811 he married Mary Kent, daughter of Sir Charles Kent Bart., [1] and his wife, Mary Wordsworth. She died in December 1829. [1]
On the 12th of July 1830 he married Mary-Anne Cary, daughter of George Cary of Tor Abbey in Devon and his wife, Frances Stonor, and widow of John Dalton of Turnham Hall in Lancashire. [1]
John died on the 7th of July 1831, survived by his wife. [1] His will was proved in August 1831. [1]
He was survived by his second wife, who married for a third time to Sir Charles Ogle, 2nd Bt. of Worthy.
