Revolutionary War Veteran

John was born in 1709. He passed away in 1783.

Birth

John Guernsey is the twin brother of Peter. They were born on 6 April 1709 in Milford, New Haven, Connecticut to Joseph Guernsey Jr. (1674-1754) and Elizabeth Disbrow (1676-1753).

They were baptized on the same day, 10 April 1709 in Milford, Connecticut.

Marriage and Family

He married Anna Peck (1713-1794) on 28 December 1733 in Waterbury, New Haven, Connecticut. [1] They had 10 children.

Death and Burial

John died on 3 April 1783 at 73 years old. He was buried in the Old Amenia Burying Ground, Amenia, Dutchess, New York. [2] Headstone is available.
