Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

I noticed that you have a new Pre-1700 badge and have begun adding pre-1700-era profiles. This is just a reminder that certifying to work on these types of profiles means that you agree to add valid sources as outlined in the Pre-1700 Certification Quiz. Online family trees, such as were used in profiles for Kohler_aka_Koehler-1 and Stumpel-4, are not considered to be valid for sourcing pre-1700 profiles. Please search for valid, reliable sources to cite before creating any more pre-1700 ancestors.
Most of WikiTree's Projects have developed Reliable Sources pages that you may find useful in searching for sources for the profiles you create. Scroll through the list of Projects to see if one of them might be appropriate to the geographic location of interest. If you need help with creating a profile for which you could not find a valid source, our G2G Forum can also help. You can get there by clicking the link on the Help menu.
Also one more note - entering a last name as "Kohler_aka_Koehler" is not correct for a WikiTree profile. You must pick one of the names, such as Kohler, as the "Last Name at Birth" (LNAB, the name they were born with according to an original birth record). If you don't have an actual birth record, then you would enter your best estimate of the birth name (perhaps from a marriage or other record). Then you can enter the other name in either the "Current Last Name" field, or as a variation in the "Other Last Names" field. You can easily fix the LNAB by renaming it from the Edit screen.
Hope that helps!
We are so happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.
Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. They will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.
Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.
