Biography

Elizabeth Holand[1]

Elizabeth, daughter of Sir John Holand by his 2nd wife Margaret,[1] was born in 1389 in Northamptonshire, England.[2]
She married Roger Fiennes, Knt., before 1422. They had two sons and a daughter:[1]
Elizabeth (Holand) Fiennes was living in 1441.[1] She died before 1449 in Sussex, England.[citation needed] Sir Roger Fiennes "left a will dated at Buxted, Sussex 29 October 1449, proved 18 Nov. 1449, requesting burial at Herstmonceux, Sussex."[1]

I'm working on a Magna Carta trail from Beville-27 to Say-76 & the Elizabeth Holand who married Roger Fiennes (in the trail) is not the daughter of the parents currently attached to this profile. I've created a profile for the correct father (Holand-62). Her mother was Margaret _____ (who doesn't have a profile in WikiTree, since only her given name is known). I plan on editing this profile, detaching it from the current parents & changing Roger's profile from Fynes-3 to Fiennes.
