Sorry i have posted an incorrect tree and the person who is roy's mother is my real great grandparent.

My apoligies as i was just going with what my DNA Matches was leading me to the conclusion that his father wife is not my grandparent but thanks to a lady she change and said she is .

Hi Kay.

It looks like you removed yourself as her daughter. If you click on "add child" then add your WikiTree ID, you should be back as one of her children. It isn't necessary to add dates to birth/death locations, nor do addresses need to be added to those locations.

I did i do something wrong. I just couldnt add dates for births and death and checked your format and i was doing it correctley. I can delete my tree if you like. I hate tech and i am in my 60s so get frustrated when i try and follow your layout as it keeps telling me it is correct.

Hi, Kay

You did upgrade to the Family Member level, and this page explains them: Membership information.  At the Family Member level, you will see ads on the pages.

I can't see which profile you are referring to. You can send a link (web address or the WIkiTree ID) to the profile to it for further investigation.

WikiTree doesn't allow deletion of profiles; it is a one-world tree, meaning there is one profile per person, and you connect to your parents, who connect to their parents and will connect your branch with the main tree when any great-grandparent (1st, 2nd, and so on) to their parents. You also do not create new profiles if one exists for the person.

I am also in my 60s :-)

Hi Hilary, i am just trying to work out how to use this site.


I have found the Bradshaw/Merriam 5th GGParents,that i needed.


I have been searching for my 3rd and 4th GGParents in Nova Scotia.

My DNA matches my 5th GGParent in Mass and they were Loyalist so went to Nova Scotia,


My DNA matches my 2nd GGFather who came from Nova Scotia to Australia and married Native1.

Other set of 5th GGParent are Rogers etc which my DNA matches.


Conclusion is a Rogers Married a Bradshaw or vice versa for the 3rd and 4th GGParents.

I have just about given up trying to find them and thought i would try here as well as Ancestry.

For research help, probably the best way to find others searching for your family is the G2G forum. There you could create a new post to introduce yourself and tell others about your quest.
