Hello Mike,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus. Review the project pages for special guidelines and to learn how to collaborate with the project members.

Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page. Natalie ~ Pre-1700 Greeter

Thank you, Mike, for volunteering to help us grow our worldwide family tree by adding your Trethowan line.

I hope your experience as a member of the WikiTree community will be very pleasant and productive.

Volunteer simply means you want to add your ancestral line (in this case, the Trethowan family) to WikiTree because we are trying to build a worldwide family tree. I see you have a Trethowan web site of your own. You could connect to it from WikiTree for extra exposure. Do you also want to build your Trethowan family line on WikiTree?

I don't know what you mean by volunteer. My main emphasis is on the Trethowan family line and the many branches in Australia, U.S. and other parts of the world. This is where I focus my limited time and resources.

Respectfully, Mike C. Trethowan trethowan.org

Would you also like to build your ancestral line on WikiTree? It has a pretty good exposure to Google search. If so, click the volunteer link.

I am an amateur genealogist who began by tracing the Trethowan family tree. Eventually this grew into a project that eventually led to the creation of the Trethowan Surname Page at www. trethowan.org
