Jack , you type TORRENCE in both the Last Name at Birth field and the Current Last Name field , then SAVE .The Anonymous should dissapear. Let me know if this helps !

Jack , I am so sorry but I do not have a Windows 8 ! I know that the drivers for the amps mysteriously vanishes . Type in your Explorer box " Sound " or " Amps " - it may even be related to your INTERNET sounds which is different . Good luck !

Jack, a gedcom is an output of family information put out by genealogy software.The genealogy software produces a file that is then uploaded to Wikitree. If you google genealogy software for free, a few will pop up. But a lot of people start entering their family one by one to build their family tree here.

The nice thing about Wikitree is that it's like having a genealogy software in the cloud, because of the privacy settings.

I'm a direct decendant of John Spencer Torrance. My main interest is our Torrance military family. I am a retired machinist and served 9 years in the US Army and 15 years as a Paid on Call Firefighter.
