Hugh Fraser passed away in 1544 at the Battle of the Shirts, known in Gaelic as Blàr na Léine, also the Battle of Kinloch-Lochy).
Research Notes
It should be noted that MacKenzie, (1896) refers to Hugh as the Fifth Lord Fraser. With the repetition of names and the variance of titles it is easy to mix up this line.[4]
The middle name Uidsdean was attached but none of the sources reviewed mention this name.

Frazier-1017 and Fraser-1468 appear to represent the same person because: same name, same time frame, same location, Alexander not father, born in 1527.THIS is correct.
