Professionally,
I am Baylor Professor of Computer Science and Executive Director of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest.
Personally,
I am my wife's husband, my three daughters' dad, my two son-in-law's father-in-law, and my three grandchildren's granddad. Granted, grandchild #3 is won't hatch till February 2014, but I don't want to leave her out of the list.

2. Feel free to ask a question at our G2G forum.
3. Our help pages, top right, have all sorts of useful information. If you would like to contribute, click the volunteer button and leave a comment here on your profile to let our greeters know. You should include a little bit about how you plan to contribute to the tree. Good luck growing your branches & thanks for offering to help.

P.S. It's great to make your acquaintance! I participated in the ACM programming contest every year while I was working on my computer science degree!
As you go farther back in your tree, it is a good idea to do a search first to see if you have a match already created on Wiki Tree before creating a new profile. And keep in mind, if you do find a match, odds are the manager is also related to that person and probably you!
Also, a great place to ask specific question is on G2G. Under My Wiki Tree (on of the links at top right) select G2G PROFILE. You can browse/ask/answer questions. You can also "tag" them by topic.
I am a mentor, so let me know if you have any questions! Nae

There is a great question to review on G2G regarding duplicate profiles and merges. See: http://www.wikitree.com/g2g/51703/behind-merges-identifying-lowest-numbered-profile-correct
