Hi Mark, I recently found where Andrew Tilghman Niblett had a draw in the 1832 Georgia Lottery and received land in Cherokee Co. GA. This land was later located in Floyd Co. GA which was a county taken from Cherokee Co. I also have found Abel Niblett and a Susannah Niblett in Morgan Co. GA tax list in Morgan Co. GA 1810. Edna Wood

Hi Mark we are both descendants of Robert M. Josey and Elizabeth Howard. Elias Beauregard and my great grandfather Jonathan Jeremiah were brothers. Your Olive Louise was Elias first child from his first wife and she married Dennis E. Wood Sept 1 1918. I'm new to wiki tree and not sure if this is the right place to share this info. let me know how to proceed. Edward

Hi Mark

Let me know if you make progress on your Wood One Name study. I have Woods on both sides of my family & have it a dead end with each line.

Thanks Mark for your reply, I have studied the Niblett family for several years and my study followed studies made by my older sisters until their deaths. They made their study on Andrew Tilghman Niblett and tried to make connections. When I started I decided to start at the top with the immigrant, Richard Niblett, and his grand- sons, William and Burnell. There was also a Richard Niblett among this search. I found Burnell II in Somerset Co. MD in 1733 and it appears he married there. He was living among the Gideon Tilghman/Tillman family. Names in the Tilghman family were: Solomon, Aaron, Joseph, Moses and others. My email [email address removed] More later. Edna Niblett Wood

Hi, Everyone,

Been researching the family history for some years now and become engrossed in the last few years with DNA genealogy. Have had to do some reading up on the subject and am still not as savvy about the technical aspects as I'd like to be, so...more reading, I guess!
