My uncle, Malcolm Howard Hudson, founded the Hudson Family Association (HFA) and over the years I have started with his work and added to my database from a wide variety of sources including the HFA. An important caveat, it is unsourced but I believe accurate in many cases. One thing I would like to achieve is correct a very major error in a published mistake my uncle made just before his death. Although he said he was "speculating or making an educated guess", he included in his pedigree a link from this GG Grandfather to a George Hudson and Mary (Molly) Berry. This link has since been proven in error by my DNA tests. His book, "Hudson's my Father Never Knew", has become the source for an extreme number of on-line "family files". Many can be found in the LDS database both on line and in heir fiche around the world. It is likely that this error will continue to be perpetuated forever.
As of now, I have not been able to find the correct link beyond John William Hudson, but I have several DNA cousins out there and that is my goal.
I would be glad to offer what I have on an individual basis to any inquires on the Hudson surname including the Hudsons of Chesterfield, Amelia, and Hanover. I also have a very complete file for the descendants of Edward D. Hudson and Mary Ann Wheat.
I also have extensive number of individuals in the Hutchins/Hutchens line. I have everything published in Rita Hineman Townsend's 5 volumes of "Hutchins/Hutchens - Descendants of Strangeman Hutchins". To this I added my uncle's work in this line plus contributions of many others.

I'm also a Hudson descendant, looking to break a brick wall of my gggf Alfred Moore Hudson and his father John Hudson. If you could check out his page and see if it rings any bells, I would sure appreciate it! Thanks! -Summer :)
This is the farthest back I've gotten on that line: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Hudson-3597 John Hudson Sr.
Anything you care to add would be great!
Any questions... Just ask, if I don't know I may know someone whom does.

If you lowered your privacy level one notch to show family tree the relationship finder would work. Chances are good that a majority of Hudson, Burton, Baker, Girdler, Rainwater, etc. families in the Cumberland Gap area (Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee) are relatives of mine. Many of these families arrived in the Southern Colonies or were Native Americans. Pedigree charts always need to be sourced. I'm partial to FamilySearch due to they tell me where the record came from. Sadly, the Civil War lost many records forever...
