Thomas Jefferson Alberry was born on 20 Feb 1839 in Ohio in the United States of America. He was the son of Thomas Albery and Elizabeth Rhodes.[1] In 1850, their family was living in Jersey Township, Licking County, Ohio.[2]
Thomas married Caroline J. Evans on 8 Mar 1860.[3] They had nine children[4] and lived in Jersey Township, Licking County, Ohio. Thomas worked as a farmer.[5][6][7]
Thomas's wife Caroline died in 1891. In 1900, Thomas was living with his daughter Della Rosetta (Alberry) Swick's family in Jersey Township and working in tile and brick manufacturing.[8] In 1910, he lived with Della's son William Henry Swick's family in Jersey Township.[9]
Thomas died on 19 Sep 1918 in Jersey Township, Licking County, Ohio.[1] He was buried in Jersey Universalist Church Cemetery in Pataskala, Licking County, Ohio.[10] In his obituary, he was remembered as "a kind husband and father and a respected citizen by all who knew him."[4]
