Biography

Phyllis Allen was born on 24 February 1702, in Dartmouth, Bristol, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Joseph Allen (1667-1735) and Rachel (Gifford) Allen (1675-1721). ^{[1] [2]}

Phyllis married Enos Gifford (1693-1769) about 1723, probably in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.

They had the following children:

Phyllis Allen Gifford died at age 88 on 1 June 1790, in Little Compton, Newport, Rhode Island. She is buried in the Old Commons Burial Ground in Little Compton, Rhode Island.^[3]
