Biography
Rebecca, b. ca. 1823, the daughter of Benjamin Arnold and Lydia Harpell, m. James Gordon. They lived in East Jeddore, and d. 27 May 1854 at Jeddore, age 30 years (Christian Messenger, 22 June 1854)[1].

- Elizabeth May Gordon, b. abt 1835 in East Jeddore. She married abt 1854, William Blakeney, b. 1 Apr 1821 in Ship Harbour, (he was the son of Lawrence Blakeley and Nancy Ann Day) baptized 30 Jun 1821 in St. Pauls, Halifax.
- Daughter Gordon, b. abt 1836 in East Jeddore
- Margaret Gordon b. 2 Dec 1838.
- Mary Gordon b. Abt 1840.
- Ann "Nancy" Gordon b. 12 Jan 1842.
- Robert A. Gordon b. 1 May 1847.
