Biography
Margaret was born about 1835 in Jeddore, Nova Scotia. She is the daughter of Benjamin Arnold and Lydia Harpell[1]. He m. (1) Margaret Arnold, 8 Aug. 1852 (per family records). She married John William Mitchell, 8 Aug. 1852 (per family records) and probably died ca. Sept. 1853 in childbirth or of resulting complications.
Children:
- Sabina, b. 14 Aug. 1851 (per family records), or 11 Oct. 1852 (per the record of her baptism by Rev. Robert B. Jamison on 24 March 1853), d. April 1853 at Oyster Pond.
- Harris Benson, b. 14 Sept. 1853, Oyster Pond, m. Mary Ann Dooks.
