Biography
Prudence Olive Avery was born 9 Jul 1832, the tenth child (daughter) of Dudley Avery and Prudence Avery.
She married 10 Oct 1850 @ Lyme Twp., Ohio, Edwin Manley [b. 26 Oct 1826 @ Dorset, VT, son of John & Thankful Jane (Nicholson) Manley. Note: Probably Edwin's father was John Manley (1762-1849), however there is as yet an insufficient evidentiary trail to conclude the attachment.].
They had 3 children, their second dying young:
- Dudley Avery Manley, b. 16 May 1852 @ Sherman, Ohio; married Rosealtha A. Meyers
- Mary Anna Manley, b. 10 Jun 1854 @ Bucyrus, Ohio; d. 19 Oct 1865 @ Alpine, Michigan
- Luther Hiram Manley, b. 15 Jun 1858 @ Alpine, Michigan; married Emma A. Allen
