Biography

This Prudence Avery was the first child (daughter) of Jacob Avery (1757-1810) & Mary Elizabeth Avery (1762-1805), born in Groton, Connecticut.

She married 16 Oct 1814 @ Groton, Connecticut, Dudley Avery, b. 16 Dec 1791. They had 10 children, all except their last one born at Groton. Their three children who died in childhood are buried in the Edward Avery burying-ground:
