Biography

No parents for Mary Ayre/Ayres have yet been discovered. A note left by Fenderson descendant years long Fenderson researcher LaRee Madsen dated 21 January 2021 at Familysearch states, "Do not merge with Mary Ayers (KZBM-H63) d/o John and Mary (Hunking) Ayers who died 21 Nov 1754 per her father's Bible record. Our Mary (parents unknown) had 5 children after the 21 Nov 1754 death of John Ayers' daughter, Mary." Despite this note, someone HAS merged her with those 'parents'.

She marries (or perhaps remarries?) to our now (or nearly) widowed Nathaniel Fenderson on 11 July 1754 at Scarborough, Maine[1]

  2. A "Memory" left at Familysearch by cousin Linda C. Olsen 22 May 2022 which she credits to Eben Dunham Wiswell's "15 Generations of Americans", but I believe this is data that she and cousin LaRee Madsen compiled through their years of research of the Fenderson line. Certainly this data was compiled from a number of sources.
  3. note left with death information by cousin/descendant LaRee Madsen dated 21 January 2021 at Familysearch stating, "I Have found no death information; however, the family lived at Scarborough and are enumerated on the 1790 and 1800 USC with a female in the home to equal the correct ages for Mary as the mother in the home. I don't find any record indicating her after 1800."
