Biography

Elias Babcock II was born on 9 May 1794 in Dalton, Berkshire, Massachusetts, son of Corp. Elias Babcock (1757 - 1839) and Huldah (Kinney) Babcock (1758 - 1856).

In his deposition of his father's pension record, he states he was born in Dalton, Berkshire County, MA, but his second marriage record says he was born in Washington, Massachusetts.
