Biography

Ella Jean was born 6 Mar 1874 in New Glasgow, Queens, Prince Edward Island, Canada. ^{[1] [2]} She married Alexander N. Simpson in Toronto, Ontario about 1894. They went to live in Iowa in 1914. ^{[3] [4]} By 1935, they were living in Norwalk, Iowa and were still there in 1940. ^[5] Alexander died in 1945. Ella died 12 May 1960 and was buried in Norwalk Cemetery, Norwalk, Warren, Iowa. ^{[6] [7]}

Children:

Roland Simpson b. c1896, 3 yr. college/university in 1925.

Margaret Simpson b. c 1898 (appears to have died young).

Mary Simpson b. c 1906.
