Biography
Valentine Baker was born 13 Mar 1809 to Jacob and Judith Baker.[1] Valentine Baker married Elizabeth Burgoyne on 18 Nov 1834 and they have the following children recorded in the parish registers;
- Mary Ann Matilda - 1835-11-04
- Alexander Daniel - 1837-05-20
- Charles Henry - 1840-08-18
Foltene Baker (63) is on the 1871 census with wife Elizabeth (58) at Chester with their sons.[2] Daniel (34) with wife Sophia (23), Charles (28) with wife Ann (22) and their children (twins?) William (4) and Priscilla (4). There are also a Jacob Baker (36) and Isaiah Baker (37) both wife wives and families next door and they would seem to be ideal candidates for additional sons.
