Raphael was born 3 Nov 1772 and was baptized the same day in Louiseville (St-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup). He was the son of François Banyat (sic, the IGD file transcribes the LNAB as Banyac but in the original document it is Banyat) and Marie Anne Lemaitre. Godparents were Antoine Tibrond (?) and Josephte Jarlais (signature) wife of Joseph Pailliez. [1]
On 22 Nov 1802, in Louiseville (St-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup), Seraphin Banliac dit Lamontagne (note the signature of François Banyac for spelling) adult son of François Banliac and Marie Anne Lemaitre married Marie Felicite Martin minor daughter of Louis Martin and Marie Felicite Dubé. Two signatures, François Banyac and Louis Dubé, likely the fathers of the couple. [2]
Séraphin Banliac dit Lamontagne, 44 year old husband of Félicite Martin, died 4 Jun 1816. He was buried the next day in Louiseville (St-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup) cemetery. [3]
