Biography

Corderoy Barnard was born about 1647. He was the son of Richard Bernard and his second wife, Anne Corderoy, who was born at Petsoe in Buckinghamshire, England. He is known to have emigrated to Virginia with his parents before 1647, as the headright for this individual appears in his mother's land patent.[1]
