Birth

Nathaniel Bingham was born before his baptism date of 2 May 1704 in Norwich, New London, Connecticut to Thomas Bingham and Hannah Backus.

Marriage and Family

He married twice:

1. Margaret Safford, called Mary, (1703-1750) in about 1722.
2. Hannah Walcott (born 1715) on 16 January 1750 in Mansfield, Tolland, Connecticut.

Children of the Bingham-Safford Marriage

1. Nathaniel Bingham Jr. was born in 1723 in Norwich, New London, Connecticut.

He married 1) Zerviah Unknown on 1 March 1747 in Lisbon, New London, Connecticut and 2) Johanna Unknown (1730-1810) about 1756. He died on 26 April 1802 in Chesterfield, Cheshire, New Hampshire, USA.

1. Mary Bingham was born on 16 May 1725 in Norwich, New London, Connecticut.
2. John Bingham was born on 1 April 1727 in Norwich, New London, Connecticut. He married Susannah Burnham (1728-1795) in 1750 in Bozrah, New London, Connecticut. John died on 20 December 1804 in Sprague, New London, Connecticut, USA.
3. Jeremiah Bingham was born before the baptism date of 11 February 1733 in Lisbon, New London, Connecticut.
4. Simeon Bingham was born before the baptism date of 6 October 1734 in Lisbon, New London, Connecticut.
5. Lemuel Bingham was born before the baptism date of 6 November 1737 in Lisbon, New London, Connecticut. He died on 2 March 1776.
6. Sarah Bingham was born before the baptism date of 1 June 1740 in Lisbon, New London, Connecticut. She married Ephraim Baldwin (son of Thomas Baldwin).
7. Hannah Bingham was born on 28 October 1742 in Norwich, New London, Connecticut. She married Nathan Caswell Jr. on 30 April 1761 in 2nd Church, Norwich, New London, Connecticut. Hannah died in July 1824 in Brompton (now Sherbrooke), Quebec, Canada.

1. Priscilla Bingham was born in June 1753 in Connecticut. She married Amaziah Fisk (1747-1831) on 3 January 1711 in Hampton, Windham, Connecticut. Priscilla died on 16 September 1799 in Hampton, Windham, Connecticut, USA.
2. Lydia Bingham was born in 1755 in Connecticut.

Death

Nathaniel died in about July 1757 in Mansfield, Tolland, Connecticut at the age of 53. ^[1]
